Most of the samples in forensic medicine are human tissues. In homogenization, human tissues are cut, its cells are broken and their contents are prepared for extraction and identification with single detector devices. The best mechanical homogenization method is the rotor-stator method, in which case the cutting blade is hidden in the stator cover and cannot be compared with blade methods in terms of safety and quality of homogenization.

In this case, in addition to mechanical homogenization, the phenomenon of cavitation also adds to the quality of homogenization, just like the ultrasonic method. Considering the need of the provincial centers of forensic medicine for a homogenizer device and the problems created in its preparation due to the tightening of sanctions, this device was designed and built in the forensic medicine research center. The first device was installed and evaluated in January 2019 in Fars province, which was approved. In the evaluation results of this device, its superior quality compared to similar German and Swiss devices in several areas, including the physical appearance of homogenized particles, particle size, comparing injection results to HPLC and GC/MASS analysis devices, device safety and The special design of its stator rotor was mentioned. The second device, which was an upgraded model of the previous device, after passing the evaluation stages and applying the proposed corrective changes, is now used in the toxicology laboratory of Kahrizak, Tehran, as the largest legal toxicology laboratory in the country.

Its keyboard is designed in both Persian and English languages and all operations are controlled by a central processor. In addition to having the previously mentioned improvements, it has an automatic, manual and washing homogenization program, and in order to facilitate operation, desirable changes have also been added to the system in the calibration method, coupling of the rotor to the motor, the sample container, and the ability to adjust the motion course in the stator. Is. This device has no foreign equivalent and is designed for use in forensic laboratories. The American, German and Swiss devices used are completely manual and in the American device we only have the possibility to change the engine speed. The distance and power of external systems are also weaker than the internal ones. It is hoped that with the construction of this device, we have taken a small but concrete step in the direction of operationalizing the resistance economy.
